• Open WhatsApp on your phone and go to Menu > WhatsApp Web.
• Scan the QR Code on your computer.

From your phone, navigate to WhatsApp Web to view your Logged in computers or to logout from an active WhatsApp Web session.

STEP 1.

Register as a user on Facebook, if you don't already have an account. While your event or business does not need to have a Facebook presence, you do need to be a registered Facebook user in order to advertise on Facebook.

Install software like Classic Shell or Start Menu 7, which puts the start button and Windows 7 start menu in Windows 8. The start button or start orb and Windows 7 start menu is not included in Windows 8. Optimize Your Computer And Internet Speed

STEP 1.

Eliminate needless programs. Your Internet connection requires memory to be able to be at the speed you are paying for. If your computer is bogged down by programs you don't need, your connection will be slower. Close programs you aren't using.

STEP 2.

Do a virus and spyware scan. Viruses and spyware also use up memory which can contribute to a connection appearing slow. Run a thorough or complete scan of each even if you have it on and scanning. A regular scan will catch additional items.

STEP 3.

Make sure you aren’t running two firewalls. These will interfere with each other and, in addition to posing security problems, also reduce your web performance. Your computer uses free hard drive space as virtual memory, so a full hard drive will slow down your computer and your connection.

Run a disk defragmentation. This should be done once every two weeks. It will improve your overall performance which can only help your Internet connection.

STEP 6.

Consider a computer upgrade. An older computer may not have the power to make use of many things on the Internet now. Even something as simple as a RAM (Random Access Memory) upgrade could help, but if your computer is more than five years old, it may be time to consider getting a newer model OR using a different operating system. Rolling back to an older windows version such as windows XP or trying out various Linux distributions, this often breaths life into an old computer. You can even get an OS that can boot directly to a browser if its the main thing you use it for (xPud, browserLinux, slitaz etc)!

Turn off your computer every night. Leaving your computer in standby mode without turning it on and off completely every day or so will tie up memory and can soon slow down your Internet speed.

How to Change a Computer's Mac Address

STEP 1.

Open the Device Manager. You can access the Device Manager from the Control Panel. It will be located in the System and Security section if you are using Category View.

STEP 2.

Expand the Network Adapters section. In your Device Manager, you will see a list of all of the hardware installed on your computer. These are sorted into categories. Expand the Network Adapters section to see all of your installed network adapters.

STEP 3.

Right-click on your adapter. Select Properties from the menu to open the network adapter's Properties window.

STEP 4.

Click the Advanced tab. Look for the "Network Address" or "Locally Administered Address" entry. Highlight it and you will see a "Value" field on the right. Click the radio button to enable the "Value" field.

STEP 5.

Enter your new MAC address. MAC addresses are 12-digit values, and should be entered without any dashes or colons. For example, if you want to make the MAC address "2A:1B:4C:3D:6E:5F", you would enter "2A1B4C3D6E5F".

STEP 6.

Reboot your computer to enable the changes. You can also disable and re-enable your adapter within Windows for the change to become effective without rebooting. Just sliding the Wi-Fi's On/Off switch like the slider found on ThinkPads and VaiOs won't satisfactorily disable/re-enable the card.

STEP 7.

Check that the changes took effect. Once you've rebooted the computer, open the Command Prompt and enter ipconfig /all and note the Physical Address of your adapter. It should be your new MAC address.

Using TeamViewer for Any System

STEP 1.

Download TeamViewer. This is a free program for home users that allows you to quickly set up a remote connection between your computers. This programs is especially useful for Mac computers, as configuring native remote desktop connections is very tricky and potentially expensive. It is also useful for Mac-to-PC connections and vice versa.

STEP 2.

Install TeamViewer on the remote computer. When you start the installer, you will be asked if you want to Install or Run TeamViewer. Select Install ton configure TeamViewer on the computer, allowing you to connect to it anytime.

• Check the “Show advanced settings” box.
• Select “personal/non-commerical use”.
• Read and accept the license agreement.

STEP 3.

Configure TeamViewer for later remote connections. Make sure “Yes” is checked before continuing the installation. TeamViewer will be configured so that you can connect to it from any computer over the internet.

• Make sure that “Full access” is checked so that you can access the computer remotely without having to approve it on the remote computer.

STEP 4.

Start the “Unattended access” setup process. After installation is complete, the “Unattended access” wizard will start. Follow the steps laid out in the wizard to complete the setup.

• You will need to give your computer a name as well as a password. Make sure that the password is strong to prevent unwanted intruders.

STEP 5.

Create a TeamViewer account. This will allow you to quickly see which of your remote computers are online and available to connect to. Once your account is created, you will see your computer appear on the list in TeamViewer.

STEP 6.

Keep TeamViewer running. TeamViewer will need to be running in order to connect to that computer. TeamViewer runs in the background, and takes minimal system resources.

STEP 7.

Connect to the computer remotely. Once TeamViewer is configured on the remote computer, you can connect to it from another device. You can do this by logging into the TeamViewer website and connecting through the browser, or by downloading and installing the TeamViewer program on that computer.^[2]

• You will need to log in and use your password to connect to the remote computer.

• Besides TeamViewer, there are several other popular programs available, such as LogMeIn, WebEX, LapLink, RealVNC, and GoToMyPC.

Nvidia has launched its latest graphics processors, the GeForce GTX 750 Ti and GeForce GTX 750 in India. The two GPUs are notable for being the first products based on Nvidia's latest Maxwell architecture, which promises significant performance improvements and power savings compared to previous generation products.

In terms of specifications, the GeForce GTX 750 Ti has 640 CUDA cores and runs at 1,020MHz. It will come with 1GB or 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM running at 1,350MHz on a 128-bit bus. Its TDP is 60 Watts, and it can run entirely off the PCIe bus, without requiring an additional power connector.

The GeForce GTX 750 is much the same, but has 512 CUDA cores running at the same speed. Cards with this GPU will only be available with 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM, which runs slightly slower at 1250MHz. These cards will have 55W TDPs.

Nvidia promises that both GPUs deliver up to twice the performance of their predecessors with up to 50 percent reduction in power consumption. The company also claims that the performance of both GPUs exceeds that of AMD's Radeon R7-260X and Radeon R7-260 GPUs by 10 percent, with half the power required.
